Wide Awake : Artwork 3

A square composition layering a city skyline, a mountain range, and a large yellow moon disc — each plane at a distinct depth, separated by a grid-perforation background that reads as sky and atmosphere simultaneously. The piece uses the Japanese woodblock print logic of depth through flattened planes rather than Western linear perspective, which gives it an abstracted, graphic quality that works at scale. The tension it captures — wild mountain above, built city below, celestial body behind — maps directly onto the modern urban adventurer's dual identity. A defining piece for a home office or living room statement wall where the occupant wants the space to say something specific about who they are.
