The Shape of Things : Artwork 4

One continuous line leaves the edge of the composition, wanders freely across an open field, wraps around three graphic forms of different sizes, and never meets a border because there is not one. The piece has no frame, no fixed orientation, no single correct reading. It draws from Alexander Calder's wire sculptures and Joan Miró's biomorphic work, both of which understood that a line freed from the obligation of containment becomes something else entirely. It becomes a journey. This is a piece that reads differently depending on where you stand, what light is hitting it, and honestly what kind of day you are having. That is the whole point.
