The Shape of Things

The Shape of Things : Artwork 2

A prancing Arabian horse held inside a clean rectangular frame, its body divided into interlocking flat graphic zones that follow the natural movement of its muscles from neck to flank to leg. The segmentation method comes directly from cloisonné craft tradition, where the outlines between zones are as much a part of the composition as the zones themselves, each field celebrated individually before being read as a whole. The Arabian horse carries a depth of cultural significance across the Gulf that goes well beyond symbolism. It is heritage, identity, and pride rendered in a single silhouette. This piece honours all of that while feeling entirely of the moment.
