A fully opened lotus rendered in layered cutwork within a frame that is deliberately incomplete — the top corners open, the bloom rising beyond the boundary of containment. That structural decision is the piece: the form that cannot be held within a border is the same one that Buddhist tradition has used for centuries to signify transcendence from limitation. Where a closed frame would make this decorative, the open bracket makes it philosophical. The petal layers build outward from a central bud in bilateral symmetry, each tier reading at a different depth under directional light. A headboard wall, a meditation room, or any interior where the act of breaking through is the intended atmosphere.
