Still Mind : Artwork 3

A fully opened lotus rendered in cutwork within a wide horizontal frame, petals layered outward from the centre in strict bilateral symmetry. The petal edges carry a slight dimensional lift, so under directional light the piece reads almost as bas-relief — depth without mass. In Buddhist and Hindu iconography the lotus rising from muddy water is the definitive symbol of transformation: purity that comes specifically from having passed through difficulty, not despite it. A natural choice for a bedroom headboard wall, a spa reception, or any horizontal surface where the eye needs a composed, grounded point of rest.
